Welcome to “Celebrity+One,” where we delve into the captivating world of dating your celebrity crush. In this thought-provoking documentary, we not only hear from regular individuals who have dated A-list celebrities but also gain insights from celebrities who have formed relationships with “regular” people. We set out to try and get interviews featuring high-profile couples like Matthew McConaughey and his wife, Raven Simone, Wanda Sykes, and Taylor Lautner, we learn about the hurdles they faced in finding genuine connections in the entertainment industry. Their wisdom and experiences shed light on the difficulties of building trust, maintaining privacy, and surviving the intense scrutiny of the online fan base.

The Why.
There's a deep connection
Why am I wanting to do this documentary? I have had my own experiences around celebrities during my time in Los Angeles. I have had experiences with a couple of well known actors and comedians who contacted me via twitter, and I ended up meeting one of them for dinner, and the other at a comedy show that he invited me too. I was not in a full fledged relationship with either of these men, but it got me thinking about the subject. How hard it can be for them to trust people, especially when it comes to dating anyone. Nowadays it seems everyone is posting private conversations on social media and exposing certain aspects of their relationship. I also just have been so curious about what the “rules” are, and how your life can change in a second, one minute you’re a waitress in a coffee shop, the next you’re dating Zac Efron. This documentary starts a conversation and offers a new perspective we haven’t seen before. Everyone has been fascinated with celebrity gossip on celebrities dating each other, but for us “normies” we day dream about dating our celebrity crushes, i’m just wanting to show how it really is, the good, the bad, and ugly.

A little about me. I was born in Flagstaff Arizona and grew up all over Phoenix. I started acting since I was 4 years old and never wanted to do anything else since. Fast forward to my 30’s I moved to Los Angeles and started my journey to become a professional working actor. Note* Professional and working does not mean “famous.” I just wanted to have a constant flow of work and be able to pay bills, that’s when you know you’ve “made it.” California kicked me back out back to Arizona to do some soul searching I guess, but still continued to stage plays and local commercials when I could.
I switched gears a bit and decided to go to school for my Biology degree since I have been passionate about wildlife conservation education for a long time. I got to move back to San Diego for 4 years and there I had another dream job of working at the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park as a Tour guide and Animal CareTaker. Still, in the background I was doing musicals and plays at the Coronado Playhouse any chance I could.
Jumping to now, California kicked me out AGAIN and I am back in Arizona. I decided to create my own content and create my own pathway in the “Entertainment Business.” Because no one is going to hand you anything and I knew that. Wish all you want, but without the effort to make your dreams come true years pass by, and I want to finish what I started and share this incredible journey. I hope my humble beginnings will inspire you to keep going, get started, and never give up on your dreams.
